Jo tidligere i prosjektet planen implementeres, desto st\u00f8rre fordeler kan oppn\u00e5s med hensyn til avfallsreduksjon, gjenvinning og resirkulering. For \u00e5 oppn\u00e5 det maksimale antallet poeng for dette kriteriet m\u00e5 de prosjekterende utarbeide planen i designfasen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e5r prognostisering av avfallsstr\u00f8mmer er en del av planleggingsprosessen, er det mulig \u00e5 ta praktiske beslutninger om utskillelse av materialer ved anlegget for resirkulering og\/eller avhending, samt om utformingen av anleggets fasiliteter, herunder avfallslagring. En riktig utarbeidet og vedlikeholdt plan for avfallsh\u00e5ndtering ved anlegget kan v\u00e6re et effektivt verkt\u00f8y for \u00e5 planlegge avfallsh\u00e5ndteringsaktiviteter og avfallsbevegelser utenfor anlegget i anleggsfasen. Med riktig administrert st\u00f8ttedokumentasjon kan planen ogs\u00e5 bidra til \u00e5 sikre overholdelse av lovverket rundt aktsomhetsplikt og annen relevant lovgivning om avfallsh\u00e5ndtering. Avfallsh\u00e5ndteringsplaner kan ogs\u00e5 brukes til \u00e5 registrere fremdrift mot m\u00e5l og besparelser p\u00e5 materialer og avfallsh\u00e5ndtering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Som med alle slike planer m\u00e5 m\u00e5let tydelig vise handlingene som personellet ved anlegget b\u00f8r utf\u00f8re n\u00e5r de h\u00e5ndterer \u00abavfall\u00bb (enten det er overskuddsmaterialer eller faktisk avfall). Hensikten er \u00e5 oppn\u00e5 mest mulig praktisk gjenbruk og resirkulering og \u00e5 gj\u00f8re deponi til siste utvei for avhending. Derfor b\u00f8r en riktig implementert plan ogs\u00e5 ledsages av n\u00f8dvendig kommunikasjon mellom tiltakshavere, prosjekterende og entrepren\u00f8rer og deretter med underleverand\u00f8rer og andre leverand\u00f8rer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">M\u00e5ltall<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00e5l for avfallsh\u00e5ndtering p\u00e5 stedet kan ledsages av overv\u00e5kning og beregninger av totalt produsert avfall gjennom hele prosjektet. Dette forutsetter overv\u00e5kning av alle typer avfall som produseres, samt avhending av dem, gjennom beregninger som disse:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Totalt produsert avfall per GBP 100\u00a0000 i kontraktsverdi (henvising til m\u00e5l fastsatt under <a href=\"https:\/\/breeam-infrastructure.byggalliansen.no\/v6\/kategorier-og-emner\/7-ressurser\/7-1-strategi-for-ressurseffektivitet\/7-1-7-plan-for-materialressurseffektivitet\/\">7.1.7<\/a>), ved \u00e5 bruke en formel som f.eks.:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure data-align=\"none\" class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"827\" height=\"63\" src=\"https:\/\/breeam-infrastructure.byggalliansen.no\/v6\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/01\/image-20.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2843\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00e5ltallet ovenfor kan deles opp i potensielle avfallsstr\u00f8mmer ved anlegget (f.eks. gjenbrukt, kompostert, forbrent, resirkulert, gjenvunnet og deponert) per GBP 100\u00a0000 i kontraktsverdi, ved \u00e5 bruke en formel som f.eks.:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure data-align=\"none\" class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"947\" height=\"74\" src=\"https:\/\/breeam-infrastructure.byggalliansen.no\/v6\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/01\/image-19.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2842\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Resultatet kan deretter sammenlignes med det som faktisk oppn\u00e5s ved anlegget.
