Metoden kvantifiserer p\u00e5virkningen av en utvikling i form av \u00abbiodiversitetsenheter\u00bb basert p\u00e5 <dfn aria-describedby=\"desc-1741090474565-ikcfwahmk\" data-definition=\"Habitat\">habitattyper<\/dfn> og deres (a) s\u00e6rpreg, (b) tilstand og (c) areal eller lengde gjennom hele livssyklusen til det vurderte prosjektet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beregningsmetoden har to metoder avhengig av (i) prosjektets skala og st\u00f8rrelse og (ii) s\u00e6rpreget til habitatene p\u00e5 stedet:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Fullstendig metode:<\/strong> Habitater f\u00f8r utbygging er over den fastsatte st\u00f8rrelsesgrensen p\u00e5 0,05 hektar (totalt) eller har stort s\u00e6rpreg.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Forenklet metode:<\/strong> Habitater f\u00f8r utbygging er under den fastsatte st\u00f8rrelsesgrensen og har lite eller middels s\u00e6rpreg.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>For begge tiln\u00e6rminger m\u00e5 det tas hensyn til line\u00e6re og arealbaserte habitater separat.
